Frank married Maude WORKMAN, daughter of Isham Douglas WORKMAN and Rosa Belle HEDGES on 4 July 1908 in Ramsey, Illinois. Maude was born 7 November 1886 in Fayette County, Illinois. She died 15 April 1956 in Brownstown, Fayette County, Illinois. |
Second Generation going up2. George SPRINGMAN was born 30 September 1857 near Alton, Madison County, Illinois. He died 11 August 1931 in Alton, Madison County, Illinois and was buried in St. Patrick Cemetery, Alton, Madison County, Illinois. NOTES: When he decided to marry, he was wondering who to pick, and his mother said, "Why don't you marry Lizzie?" They had known each other for years. Went to Texas in the early 1900's, returned. Started a lumberyard in Alton Ill. 3. Elizabeth STIEREN was born 30 January 1861 in Jersey County, Illinois. She died 10 November 1931 in Alton, Madison County, Illinois and was buried 12 November 1931 in Greenwood Cemetery, Alton, Illinois. He died 7 January 1897 in Piasa Township, Brighton, Madison County, Illinois and was buried in St. Alphonsus Church in Brighton, Jersey County, Illinois. George married Helen SEEBACKER on 1 December 1855 in the St. Peter & Paul church, St. Louis, Missouri. SOURCES: IMMIGRATION: naturalized in 1860 in Alton, Illinois; intention papers filed in 1855 stated he had lived in Madison County for three years.
